The one thing you pay for is call time past the free part. Everything about how that works — when it starts, what warns you, where the money comes from, how you cap it — is on this page. What is not on this page is a number, and the last section explains why.

One call, two halves

What is true on each side of the moment it turns into paid time.

nothing spent

While the free part runs

The call is open and the timer is on screen. Nothing has been queued up to be charged and nothing is sitting on file waiting to be charged, because you have not put anything in yet.

End the call here — plenty of people do on the first night — and you leave owing nothing. There is nothing to owe. Before the free part runs out, the app puts a notice on screen: paid time does not begin quietly.

coins

Once it becomes paid time

From that point the call draws on a coin balance you topped up beforehand. The timer carries on where it was, and you can end the call at any second of it.

When the balance runs low you get another notice while the call is still live. If it empties, the call ends there. It does not keep running and send you a bill afterwards — there is no bill, because you only ever spend what you already put in.

It is prepaid, not billed — and that is the part worth understanding

You put an amount into a coin balance on purpose, on a screen that shows the price and what it buys before you confirm it. Nothing is stored to be charged later, nothing renews on its own, and making an account does not start anything recurring.

The balance is the ceiling. A call cannot spend past what is in it, which is a blunt but reliable way of deciding in advance how much an evening is allowed to cost. It also means the worst case is bounded: if you top up a small amount and the conversation turns out to be nothing, you are out that amount and nothing else — no subscription to remember to cancel, no card being quietly charged in the background.

  • Top up small. Top up again if it is going well. The ceiling is the whole point of having one.
  • Do the looking first. Browsing and watching cost nothing, so the paid minutes are the ones to spend on someone you have already decided about.
  • Hang up whenever. Nothing continues once you end a call, and going back to the online list is free.

Why there are no numbers on this page

Coin prices and packs are set on the platform side. They differ depending on where you are and they change over time, so any figure printed here would be out of date, or wrong for you specifically, or both.

The real numbers are on the payment screen in the app, and you see them before you confirm anything — the price, and what it buys. If it does not look right to you, close it; nothing has happened and nothing has been taken. On a site whose whole argument is that we do not claim things we cannot back, inventing a price on a landing page would be an odd place to start.
